Terms & Conditions

1. No goods despatched until payment received in full.
2. Prices stated per item include VAT.
3. Prices stated per item exclude delivery and carriage. See Price List for details.
4. All prices shown in this catalogue will be held until April 2008. However should the rate of VAT be changed during this time we reserve the right to change prices accordingly.
5. The customer is liable for any local duties and taxes which may be payable on mail order deliveries.
6. The English House light fittings are handmade and therefore minor variations in formation and finish may occur. All goods are sold as seen.
7. The fixing instructions enclosed with each light fitting must be followed precisely.
8. The lamp wattage specified for each fitting must not be exceeded.
9. All goods should be checked immediately on delivery and any damage reported to The English House Limited immediately/within three working days of delivery.
10. The English House Limited undertakes to replace or refund the cost of any faulty goods, following the (safely packaged) return of such goods to The English House Limited. Returned goods must be safely packaged and complete with a copy of the relevant invoice.
11. No refund or replacement will be made for returned goods which are not in their original packaging.
12. No refund or replacement will be made for returned goods which are not found to be faulty or damaged.
13. The English House Limited cannot be responsible for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit.
